Adjusting Tone Styling
Choose between Formal, Casual, and Very Casual tone presets to control how Vibe Typer styles your transcribed text.
Overview
Tone styling controls how Vibe Typer formats your transcribed text. Choose a preset that matches how you naturally communicate.
Tone Presets
| Preset | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Formal (default) | No changes applied — text is transcribed as-is with standard punctuation and capitalization. |
| Casual | Applies contractions where natural (e.g., "I will" becomes "I'll"). |
| Very Casual | Applies contractions, converts to lowercase, and softens punctuation. |
How to Change
Go to Settings > Tone and select your preferred preset.
Non-Latin Scripts
Tone styling automatically detects non-Latin scripts (e.g., Chinese, Japanese, Arabic) and skips English-specific transforms like contractions and capitalization changes.
