Auto System Mute During Recording
Vibe Typer can automatically mute other application audio while you record to prevent interference with transcription.
What It Does
When enabled, Vibe Typer automatically mutes your system's audio output while you are recording. This prevents music, notifications, video calls, and other sounds from being picked up by your microphone and interfering with transcription accuracy.
When you stop recording, your audio is automatically restored to its previous volume.
How to Enable
Go to Settings and toggle Auto System Mute on or off.
Important Notes
- Auto system mute only affects output audio (speakers/headphones). It does not mute your microphone.
- If you are on a call and recording simultaneously, the other party will still hear you — only your local playback is muted.
