Subscription and Business Seats
Understand Free, Pro, organization seats, billing admins, members, and the Polar billing portal.
Vibe Typer supports individual subscriptions and organization-managed seats.
Free plan
Free accounts include a monthly allowance for transcription and AI features. Current limits are:
- 2,000 transcription words per calendar month.
- 20 AI operations per calendar month.
The app shows usage so you can see when you are approaching the free limit.
Individual Pro
Individual Pro is attached to your Vibe Typer account. It removes the free monthly usage limits for that account while the subscription is active.
Billing is handled through Polar. Use the billing portal to manage payment method, invoices, renewal, cancellation, and plan changes.
Business and organization seats
Organizations can buy seats for team members. A user with an assigned active organization seat receives Pro access through that organization instead of through an individual subscription.
Organization billing is centralized. Owners or billing managers can manage seats, invite teammates, assign access, update billing details, and open the Polar customer portal when they have permission.
Members with an organization seat can use Pro features, but billing changes are managed by the organization owner or billing manager.
Billing email vs app account
Your app account is the email you use to sign in to Vibe Typer. Your billing email is the contact email used by Polar for receipts and payment records.
These may be different in some cases, especially for organizations. If Pro access is missing after purchase, contact support with the app account email and billing email.
Entitlement source
The app may show whether Pro access comes from:
- An individual subscription.
- An organization seat.
- The free plan.
If your organization manages billing, cancellation or payment changes usually need to be handled by the organization billing admin rather than the seat member.
